Welcome

A photo of Christ Church Moreton Hall
Welcome to Christ Church Moreton Hall. Christ Church was founded by all the Christian denominations in Bury St. Edmunds in 1985. Over the years we have developed into a Church where every Christian is able to worship and serve Christ regardless of denomination background. It is our aim to share the love of Christ with everyone, whatever their need, background or past. Christ Church is a Church of England Parish which is completely Ecumenical. Please use the links down the left hand side of the page to find out more about us.

Have you been on an Alpha course, or helped cook for it? What does Alpha mean to you?

I need interesting stories on how Alpha affected you, for a new video that I am making for the Next Back to Church Sunday. I am producing a video interview type format, when Howard Scott will interview you in front of the camera, and then I want to include some relevent shots of you involved in society. This DVD will encourage others to attend Alpha this coming Autumn. It does not take long and is really painless!

General Election
There will provisionally be a "hustings meeting" at Christ Church at 7.30pm Friday 30th April to which all our local candidates will be invited.
This is being organized through Churches Together so that Christians have the opportunity to put questions of a moral or more faith related nature to the candidates rather than the ones they answer all the time (Obviously there's no absolutely clear distinction and the meeting is open to all).
