Sue and Alan Dunsire
Sue and Alan are moving. We shall say goodbye to them on the 21st March and wish them well for the future. We would like to thank them for all their hard work over many years and their friendship to so many of us.
Deanery Synod Report 4.3.10
Our speakers this time were Sue Griffin and Neville Jephcote, who spoke about their work as Chaplains in the Workplace.
This ecumenical charity started in 1994, and the Chaplains are able to provide a confidential, independent, non-judgemental service of support to people in their place of work.
As part of her role, Sue (who lives locally) hopes to work with people in the expanding retail sector, of which she has much experience. Those whose work is commission-based are often under great pressure.
However, the chaplaincy exists for the benefit of those employed within all aspects of industry, including public service and agriculture as well as commerce.
