God's Gang News
It's been a great summer! The highlights were hearing the testimonies of the young people when they returned from Soul Survivor and being in the Groundbreakers holiday club team. But now it's September and we must share with everyone that we urgently need new leaders for God's Gang to enable us to staff our five groups. It's great to be in God's Gang and to invest time in the children and young people teaching God's word through the varied and fun activities. If you think you might be able to help, please speak to Jonathan Ford or Sue Radcliffe.
God's Gang starts on 13th September. There will be no God's Gang on 27th September as all are invited to Back to Church Sunday.
There is a leaders' meeting on Tuesday 8th September, 7.30pm at the Radcliffe's.
Message from the Minister
Please read what Sue says above! She and the team need volunteers to help them continue this important work. We also need to consider the future and to that end hope to hold a meeting for church members and parents sometime in October. Meanwhile if you think you could join the team, please see Sue or Jonathan.
Back to Church Sunday - note for church members
You are encouraged to do the following:
- Come to the service and the barbecue
- Pray for the service and those who attend.
- Invite somebody - pray first to decide who you should ask!
Invitations available at Church or speak to David Carpenter or David Grantham.
Drama Group
The first meeting of the drama group will be the rehearsal for Back to Church Sunday. This will be at 9am on Saturday 26th September in the small hall at Church.
Projector
For Sunday 6th September we are borrowing a newer brighter projector for a trial. If you find this better (or worse) please tell a church warden or a church council member. Your comments will help decide improvements to the present system.

Office
The office will be open as normal starting from Tuesday 8th September. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9am-12noon and Wednesday and Thursday 1pm-4pm.
