“DELIGHT IN GOD”

Adventures with God
The book of Acts is a report of the ACTions of the believers after the arrival of the Holy Spirit.  We will discover that God acts when people pray and we know anyone can pray anywhere at anytime.  We are going to discover lots of new ideas to help us to do just that!
 
The ARK is our crèche for the youngest children during the main morning service.  It is supervised on Sundays when D.I.G. have a session.  At other times the room is available for parents to use with their own children.
Also we now have three “play sacks” for small children who prefer to stay with their parents and play quietly.  Ask a sidesperson if you need help.
 
Operation Christmas Child
Leaflets are now available in the entrance hall.  Please take one for information about the appeal. If you don’t want to do your own box the DIG team will be accepting donations for packing on 13th November.
 
Seedlings and Saplings
Seedlings is a group for preschool children and their parents, meeting on Monday mornings at 10am.  See Pam Hill for details.
Saplings is for school years 1 to 3. They meet on Friday afternoon, 4-5pm, for fun and faith based activities. See Debbie Corwin.
 
PULS8
This group for 11 to 18 year olds meets on Wednesday evenings, 7pm at church.  See their notice board in church.
 
Harvest Thanks
Thank you to everyone who made our Harvest Supper such a good and enjoyable occasion and to those who lead the Harvest Worship Together.
Thanks also to those who brought harvest gifts and donations.

Bury Town Pastors URGENTLY need more Town Pastors and Prayer Team.
Prayer Team applications are welcome anytime.
Dates for Town Pastor Training: Saturday 5th November, 9.00am - 3.30pm and Monday evenings 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th November.
To be included in the November training, please return applications by Wednesday 19th October.
