Morning servicesMorning ServicesIt lasts for approximately 30 minutes. Content varies from Service to Service but usually includes hymns, quizzes, competitions, interviews, presentations, Prayers, Bible readings and a talk. Also baptisms may occasionally take place in this service. They are allowed to come forward and receive a blessing. All Adults are welcome to receive. There are Hymns, Prayers, Bible readings and a teaching Sermon. This service is normally on the third and fifth Sundays of the month. It lasts for 1 hour 15 minutes. Sermon: John 1:5-2:2At the end of this service we will present to Keira a Candle. It is our gift to her, to reminder her and her family, of this very special day, the day of her baptism. It is meant to symbolise the fact that because she has been baptised, she now is walking in the light. Walking in the light with Jesus and walking in the light with us 5This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. 7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. Sermon: 1 John 1:1-4Today we begin a series on the letters of John. We have never taught on before and it is a wonderful book which contains some of the most important passages of the Bible such as: 8If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness
